Daily Routine

Monks’ Daily Activities:

1 – 6:00 am – Wake up time
2 – 6:30 am – Morning Prayer session and Breakfast
3 – 8:00 am – Morning Debate session
4 – 11:00 am – Lunch + Break
5 – 12:00 pm – Academic Session (learn Tibetan Grammer, practice Tibetan calligraphy and English.
6 – 2:00pm – Break (personal time)
7 – 3:00 pm – Attend class on Buddhist Philosophy (Text)
8 – 5:00pm – Dinner
9 – 6:00pm – Study and Memorization on Buddhist Text
10 – 7:00 pm – Evening Debate Session
11 – 9:00 pm – Study and Memorization on Buddhist Text
12 – 11:00 pm – Bed Time
Note: Monks can stay longer if they need more time to do study and memorize the Buddhist Text (Five Classical Subjects)
