Living Master

Brief biography of our living master Lobsang Tenzin:

He was born in 1938 at the place called Yara in Kham Tibet. He became a monk at his very tender age and went to Drepung Loseling Monastery at Lhasa for his higher studies on Buddhist Philosophy. He studied there more than a decade for materializing his noble aim of perfecting in Philosophical studies. Unfortunately, he had to leave his own country and escape to India along with His Holiness the Dalai Lama when Chinese Communist Party invaded Tibet in 1959. He completed his remain studies in exile and has been awarded first position in his Geshe Exam. In 2002, as His Holiness Dalai Lama’s recommended, he ascended throng of Sharpa Choeje, a second highest lama in Gelupa sect. Presently, he has been giving teachings to hundreds of young aspiring students at his residence at Loseling Phukhang Khamtsen, in southern India. In his spare times, he travels to many foreign countries for assisting spiritual needy people with his talent and wisdom .
